There are 100 confirmed HYROX races in the 2026/27 season, running from 1 August 2026 to 10 June 2027 across six continents, and finishing at the World Championships in Hong Kong. Six of them are in the UK and Ireland.
Every date below is read from HYROX's own event pages rather than estimated from previous seasons.
Why trust this
This site previously carried race dates its own code header described as "placeholder approximations based on the 2024-26 calendar cadence". Those have been removed. The calendar below comes from a scrape of every race page listed in HYROX's official event sitemap, with dates and venues read rather than derived.
That matters practically: an athlete planning a twelve-week block around an invented date loses a season.
UK and Ireland, 2026/27
| Race | Starts | Venue | |---|---|---| | Birmingham | 27 October 2026 | NEC, Pendigo Way | | Dublin | 11 November 2026 | Royal Dublin Society | | London | 2 December 2026 | ExCeL, Royal Victoria Dock | | Manchester | 20 January 2027 | Manchester Central | | Glasgow | 10 March 2027 | Scottish Event Campus | | Cardiff | 20 May 2027 | Principality Stadium |
Each date is the start of the event window. Divisions and waves spread across several days, so your own race day depends on your entry. Confirm on the full event calendar before booking travel.
The season by region
| Region | Races | |---|---| | Europe | 49 | | North America | 21 | | Asia | 19 | | Oceania | 4 | | South America | 4 | | Africa | 3 |
Europe carries almost half the calendar, which is why UK-based athletes have more realistic options than the raw total suggests. A weekend race in mainland Europe is often cheaper than a domestic one once accommodation is counted.
The season closes with the World Championships in Hong Kong from 10 June 2027.
How to choose your race
The calendar is not just a list of dates. Which one you pick shapes your entire training block.
Count back twelve weeks. That is the honest length of a first proper build. A December London race means starting in September. A March Glasgow race means training through a Scottish winter. A May Cardiff race means a block that gets lighter and warmer as it progresses. These are genuinely different experiences, and the season matters more than most people expect when choosing.
Pick your second race before your first. The single most common regret is entering one race, finishing, and then having nothing booked while motivation is at its peak. Two races roughly twelve to sixteen weeks apart is a much better first year than one.
Travel is a variable, not a detail. A race you fly to adds cost, fatigue and risk. For a first HYROX, the nearest event removes problems at a point when you have plenty.
Enter early for popular slots. London and the larger European events fill, and specific divisions fill first.
The practical part: building a season
- Choose a target race and count back twelve weeks. Put the start date in your calendar now, not the race date.
- Check what season that block falls in. If it runs through midwinter, decide your dark-evening plan before week one rather than in week three.
- Book travel and accommodation early for anything requiring a flight, and confirm the date on the official listing first.
- Pencil a second race twelve to sixteen weeks after the first. You do not have to enter it yet.
- Leave the World Championships out of year one. Qualification is a separate pathway, and for athletes aged 60 and above it runs through the Open division only.
Honest limitations
This is a snapshot. HYROX adds, moves and occasionally cancels races through a season, and a date read today may be revised. Everything here should be confirmed on the official listing before you spend money, particularly for 2027 dates that are still ten months out.
The 100 figure counts main events only. Youngstars races run at several of the same venues and are counted separately.
Entry prices, wave times and division availability are not covered here and change per event.
